Nursery Sunday School
Ages 6 Weeks – 2 Years
Nursery Sunday school is a place where our littlest disciples will hear the Word of God through Bible stories, followed by age-appropriate crafts, coloring, and activities. The hour is wrapped up with fellowship around the snack table and joyful fun as friends join together in play.
Check In & Pick Up
At our computer check-in stations in the lobbies, you'll receive a personalized ticket or receipt, that indicates where to check in and pick up your child.
If you are a first time guest or not yet in our check-in system, please fill out a yellow “First Time Guest” Form and handwrite a nametag a pick up ticket. We will get you into the computer for the following week.
If you need to update your information in the computer, please fill out a green “Update Information” Form.
Sunday Morning Live
Ages 3-4-K and Grades 1-5
Exciting, upbeat, fun, educational — Sunday Morning Live is children’s worship and Sunday School all in one exciting hour at Hyde Park United Methodist. The same program is offered at 9:30 and 11 a.m., so families may choose the time that is best for them! We recommend that families worship together and then send their children to Sunday Morning Live while parents are attending a Sunday School or serving. If you feel your 3-4-K child is too young for worship, we suggest that you send them to Sunday Morning Live for both hours as repetition is a good thing for that age group.
Sunday Morning Live opens with children gathered to worship through singing, clapping and dancing to upbeat, exciting music while learning the “Faith Point“ biblically based learning point in an interactive, engaging environment.
After a 30-minute worship time, the children move into age-specific small groups where they build relationships with their classmates and adult shepherds. The children will gain biblical knowledge and learn how to apply it to their lives through multi-sensory activities that cater to all the various learning styles of our children. Most of all, children will learn and experience the transformational power of our God and all the while have fun doing it!
Check In & Pick Up
At either 9:30 or 11 a.m., check your child into one of the two worship rooms in the Wesley Center:
Ages 3 years - Kindergarten: Wesley Center Room 206
Grades 1-5: Wesley Center Room 306
At our computer check-in station, you'll receive a personalized ticket or receipt, that indicates where to pick up your child on the same hallway following Sunday Morning Live.
