Coordinator/Co-Coordinator

• Description: Leads, organizes and supports their volunteer team
• Time: Serves weekly on Sundays or Wednesdays 9 -10:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., or 6:15-8:15 p.m.
• Age Requirement: Adult 
• Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Shepherding, Teaching
• Service Commitment: 12 months or 9 months
• Ages Served: All ages

Large Group Leader

• Description: Leads and organizes the large group worship experience at the beginning of each hour
• Time: Serves 2-4 times per month on Sundays or Wednesdays 9:15-10:15 a.m., 10:45-11:45 a.m., or 6:15-8:15 p.m.
• Age Requirement: Adult
• Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Shepherding, Teaching
• Service Commitment: 12 months, 9 months, or summer
• Ages Served: 3-4-K  or 1st-5th Grades

Music Leader

• Description: Leads and organizes the worship music at the beginning of each hour
• Time: Serves 2-4 times per month on Sundays or Wednesdays 9:15-10:15 a.m., 10:45-11:45 a.m., or 6:15-8:15 p.m.
• Age Requirement: 6th Grade and up under supervision of adult
• Spiritual Gifts: Music, Teaching, Leadership
• Service Commitment: 12 months, 9 months, or summer
• Ages Served: 3-4-K  or 1st - 5th Grades

Small Group Shepherds

• Description: Teaches or assists with the 30 minute small group lesson and nurtures a relationship with 10-15 children
• Time: Serve 2-4 times per month on Sundays or Wednesdays from 9:15-10:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 6:15-8:15 p.m.
• Age Requirement: 6th Grade and up (need to be seven grades ahead of class)
• Spiritual Gifts: Shepherding, Teaching, Helps
• Service Commitment: 12 months, 9 months, or summer

REAL Team Coordinator 

• Description: Leads, organizes and supports the 5th Grade service team called the REAL Team
• Time: Serves weekly on Sundays from 9:15-9:45 a.m. or 10:45-11:15 a.m.
• Age Requirement: Adult
• Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Helps
• Service Commitment: 12 months, 9 months
• Ages Served: 5th Grade

VBS Crew Leader

• Description: Leads a crew of 10 children to the various stations during VBS
• Time: 1 week in June 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., a training session beforehand
• Age Requirement: 6th Grade and up (need to be seven grades ahead of class)
• Spiritual Gifts: Shepherding, Teaching, Helps
• Service Commitment: 1 week in June
• Ages Served: All Ages

Administrative volunteer

• Description: Supports the ministry office with regular and seasonal administrative tasks (data entry, copying, folding, stuffing, mailing, etc…)
• Time: Flexible, but mostly during regular business hours
• Age Requirement: Grade 6 and Up
• Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Helps
• Service Commitment: as you can serve

Greeter Team Member

• Description: Welcomes guests and assists them as with the check in process, escorts them to their classrooms, and provides tours of the Wesley Center
• Time: Serves 1-4 times per month on Sundays or Wednesdays 9:15-9:45 a.m., 10:45-11:15 a.m., 6:15-6:45 p.m.
• Age Requirement: 6th Grade
• Spiritual Gifts: Helps, Hospitality, Administration, Mercy
• Service Commitment: 12 months, 9 months, or summer

VBS Appreciation team

• Description: Develops and implements strategies to encourage and affirm volunteers before, during and after VBS
• Time: Flexible, with majority of time during the week of VBS

• Service Commitment: as you can serve

VBS Construction team

• Description: Works with the Decorations Team to build any structures needed to support VBS
• Time: Flexible, with majority of time around the time of VBS
• Age Requirement: Grade 6 and Up
• Spiritual Gifts: Serving with knowledge in area of building

• Ages Served: All ages

VBS Decorations team

• Description: Works with the team to plan, develop and execute a decoration theme for VBS
• Time: Flexible, with majority of time around the time of VBS
• Age Requirement: Grade 6 and Up
• Spiritual Gifts: Hospitality, Serving, Encouragement
• Service Commitment: as you can serve
• Ages Served: All ages

VBS Missions team

• Description: Works with the team to plan and implement a missions emphasis for VBS

• Description: Prays for the VBS children and volunteers before, during and after VBS
