Nursery & Childcare
Ages 6 weeks - 2 Years
The nursery provides childcare for children ages 6 week through 2 years on Wednesday evenings, 6-8:30 p.m, while parents are serving or participating in a Bible study class or group. Please note that reservations are suggested so we can provide a safe and warm environment for our children and staff, as well as, be good stewards of our budget.
The Zone & The Jr Zone
Grades 1-3 and Ages 3-4-K
Sept. 7, 2011 – June 6, 2012
On Wednesday nights, The Zone provides children at Hyde Park with fun, interactive and engaging activities. Children learn more about their faith through various learning styles. Children will explore an incredible, personal friendship with Jesus through classes that may include music, hands-on crafts, creative snacks, interactive drama, or energizing games. Each week children will have fun learning more about their faith and how to apply it to their everyday lives.
Club 45
Grades 4-5
Sept. 7, 2011 – June 6, 2012
Club 45 is a relational ministry specially designed for 4th and 5th graders. It’s an evening of hanging out with friends, learning about Jesus, sharing in small group, prayer time, and having fun together. It’s an opportunity for a deeper connection with God and with each other.
Club 45 will focus on:
- Being a follower of Christ and walking the Discipleship Pathway
- Small group time and prayer time where students can get connected with kids their own age at HPUM
- Addressing relevant topics that affect kids today
- Deepening their understanding of and connection to Christ
- Having fun together! Games! Prizes! Snacks! Special field trips!
Make it a complete family evening by joining other families at Wednesday night dinner, served buffet style, beginning at 5:15 p.m
Check In
The nursery will open to accept children at 6 p.m.
The Zone & Jr. Zone (Ages 3 — Grade 3) will open to accept children at 6:15 p.m.
If your child is to attend The Zone but you have an early class/activity, please check them in and drop them off in the nursery area and staff will escort them to the second and third floor at 6:15 p.m.
Pick Up
The Zone ends at 8 p.m. and pickup will continue in Wesley Center 206 for Jr. Zone and the Activities Center for The Zone until about 8:10 p.m. After that time, children will be taken to the nursery.
Please send a quiet activity (book, homework, etc.) for your child to work on from 8-8:30 p.m. as we will begin quieting the children down at that time.
Come to pick up children as soon as your class is over at 8:30 p.m. Our goal is to have all child care staff and volunteers cleaned up and ready to leave the building by 8:45 p.m. We would like to be good stewards of our budget and our volunteers’ time. Thank you for your cooperation.
