Mission Trips

High School Mission Trip 2012 - Puerto Rico
Located in the heart of Caribbean, Puerto Rico is known as the "Island of Enchantment." On the southern coast of the island lies the town of Ponce, and many opportunities for ministry and service within communities where families struggle with poverty every day. Our youth will serve in one of the poorest communities through children's outreach, food distribution, home repair and renovation. We will fly to San Juan and stay at a TEAMeffort mission outreach facility. We'll also be able to visit downtown Ponce, as well take a fun excursion when our work is done. On this trip, you will earn 21 service hours, work together as a team, make memories and Make God's Love Real. A non-refundable deposit of $400 is due by Sunday, Jan. 29. We will depart Sunday, July 22 and arrive back Saturday, July 28. More information is available at www.teameffort.org.

Middle School Mission Trip 2012 - Atlanta
Within the bustling city of Atlanta, there are many areas where people are struggling to cope with the harsh realities of urban life. Our mission team will be able to reach out and serve in some of the poorest inner city neighborhoods with ministries that operate clothing centers, food pantries and home repairs for families in need. Our group will stay at a local church and family life center. Side trip opportunities include underground Atlanta, the Coca-Cola museum and the MLK museum. On this trip, you will earn 21 service hours, work together as a team, make memories and Make God's Love Real. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due by March 1. We will depart Sunday, July 8 and arrive back Friday, July 13. More information is available at www.teameffort.org.
