Sunday Feb. 12, parents and their children, grades 2-5, joined the Children’s Team and our pastors for a Sacraments Workshop in the Harnish Activities Center.

Families explored the meaning of Baptism and Communion in the United Methodist Church and enjoyed some hands-on activities, like making their own bread and smashing their own grapes for grape fruit juice, to use during communion. They concluded the afternoon by celebrating Communion together in the Chapel.

They were excitedly engaged in the activities and walked away with an understanding of the purpose and importance of the Sacraments, especially within the United Methodist Church.
