A Food-Packing Event with the Society of St. Andrew, Gleaning Network, 5-9 p.m., Saturday. March 3, Tampa Convention Center.

The Southeast Produce Council (SEPC) is, once again, donating all leftover produce from their annual food show. All produce will be donated and distributed in the greater Tampa area, including Hyde Park United Methodist’s Open Arms ministry.

Activities will include packing leftover food into boxes, stacking onto pallets, shrink wrapping and forklifting into 18-wheeler trucks.

Looking for 100 Volunteers! Each volunteer should complete this form to register.
Volunteers should be at least 13 years old.
All volunteers will be provided a T-shirt.
A pre-event meeting to go over procedures and to distribute T-shirts to all volunteers will be held 10:45 a.m., Sunday, March 18, Knox Hall Room 150.
