Sept. 20, Parent Teacher Conference

Sept. 24: School Garden
Sarah Jaycocks is leading the gardening initiative. On Sept. 24, she will be meeting with the kids and helping them plan the garden. If you would like to get involved in the school garden, email Sarah at

Sept. 27: Classroom Set-Up
The school was approved for three more classrooms to ease the classroom size. The teachers in the pool select their schools Sept. 26 and will be setting up their classrooms on Sept. 27-28. If anyone wants to help set up classrooms, please email Kathy Avant,

Oct. 8: PTA Meeting
As a Dunbar volunteer, you are welcome to join the Dunbar PTA. The school is asking for more people to join the PTA and membership in the PTA does not require attendance at PTA meetings. Click here for the PTA membership form.
The next PTA meeting will be at 5 p.m. on Oct. 8 in the Media Center. We hope to have an update on the playground at that meeting.

Oct. 18: Slime Night
Mark your calendars now for Slime Night, Oct. 18. This will be a fun event combined with the Science Olympics.

Name Tags
If you have not picked up your name tag, they are in Vicki’s office at the church.
