Children's Musical Sunday, May 20

Join us for the children’s musical, “It’s Cool in the Furnace,” at the 9:30 and
11 a.m. worship services Sunday, May 20 in the Sanctuary. The 8:30 a.m. worship services will be combined in the Chapel.
Originally written by Buryl Red, this musical is the story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and how the Lord delivered them from the fiery furnace! There will be a fiery furnace, a king’s court in Babylon and King Nebuchadnezzar, played by our own Assistant Youth Director, Michael LeBlanc. The musical will feature the Junior Choir and the first graders from Alleluia Choir.
Families are encouraged to worship together in the Sanctuary during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services for our Sit Together Sunday. We will have regular programming for children from 6 weeks through 2-year-olds (first floor classes), but the 3-year-old, 4-year-old and kindergarten classes will watch the musical as a class in the Sanctuary.
Come and see how some things never grow old and never go out of fashion — some things remain “cool” forever.
