Love INC has a few new ways for you to get involved! Our mission is to mobilize the church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ – helping churches help people. Below are a few requests and calls to action that directly impact our guests.

Love INC volunteers have been walking with a family over the last year coordinating a yard and home clean up, mentoring and air conditioning repair, which ultimately led to reunification between parent and children. The family is thriving, however, they needed a new roof during this time. The mother has been working hard to save a substantial contribution towards a new roof and is ready to move forward.

This is where our wonderful network of churches come in!  Do you know of a contractor or roofer in your church or network with a servant’s heart? Please share this to explore how we can partner.

Calling All Handymen: We need volunteers to complete some minor repairs on a mobile home for a guest of Love INC. She is scheduled for hip and knee replacement surgery in August and these repairs are imperative for her to continue to live independently and age in place safely in her home. The first priority is to secure her metal stair rail; repair broken latch on screen door located at the top of the stairs; re-attach an awning to her trailer.

Help Center Volunteers needed: Did you know the Love INC Help Center is the foundation of our ministry and is solely staffed by trained volunteers? We are seeking additional volunteers to fill available slots on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Office hours are from 9 a.m. — 1 p.m. and located in The Portico downtown. Volunteers can make their own schedule and can serve in all aspects of the Help Center.

Interested in serving in office? Join us for our next Volunteer Orientation 10 a.m. – noon Saturday, June 29 at The Portico and RSVP here.

If you feel you can assist in any of these roles or would like more information, please reach out to Jennifer Agana at 813-222-5683 or jagana@loveinctampa.org to learn how you can get involved.
