Summer Study Groups
Combat worry, fear and more while growing in your faith alongside others this summer. Wherever you are in your faith, we have a short-term study available to help you connect and grow with others. Groups start at various times between May 30 and June 7.
“What is the Bible?” | Noon Wednesdays beginning May 30 at The Portico Cafe | Want to learn more about the Bible, but not sure where to start? Join us for study by pastor and podcaster Rob Bell which explores the Bible in an approachable, humorous and meaningful way.
“Unafraid” | 9:30 a.m. Sundays beginning June 3 in Knox Hall Room 152 | We know Jesus tells us, “Do not be afraid,” but how is it possible not to be anxious? Join us for this study which will identify fears and discover practical steps for overcoming them…all in the light of Scripture and a faith that promises again and again that we can live with courage and hope.
“Joshua: Winning the Worry Battle” | 9:30 a.m. Thursdays in Knox Hall Room 152 beginning June 7 | Have you ever tried to fight worry and felt you were losing the battle? Have comments like “Just pray about it” only left you feeling more burdened? Join us for a study that will help us put real feet to our faith and win the worry battle.
“Nooma Video Discussion Group” | Online through Private Facebook Group beginning June 3 | Do you want to grow in your faith while on-the-go this summer? Join us for an online video discussion group through a private Facebook group. Short, practical faith videos by Rob Bell and questions for discussion will be embedded into the Facebook group.
