June 26-30, 2017
9 a.m. – Noon
Join us for Maker Fun Factory! Don’t miss this amazing Vacation Bible School (VBS) adventure that will help kids begin or deepen their faith by discovering that our loving God made each of us for a purpose!
Reminders for Campers and Parents
Children should wear their VBS t-shirt every day. T-shirts will be available for pick up this Sunday in the Courtyard or in the church Ministry Offices Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays. Comfortable shorts are recommended – it’s June in Florida (hot!) and the kids will be moving around a lot, sitting on floors, etc.
Shoes: please send your child in closed-toed shoes. This is for their safety as we do a lot of moving around during the day.
Please leave all toys, games, electronics and valuables at home.
Please park in our Magnolia Lot (#2 on map below) between Azeele and Magnolia street. Volunteer parking is designated in other lots. Please arrive early to give yourself time to find parking!
Sanctuary doors open at 8:50 a.m. and children should be seated by 9 a.m. for the opening each day. Crew Leaders are in their pews at 8:45 a.m.
12:05 p.m. – Those with yellow passes will be allowed in the Sanctuary to pick up their preschoolers. If you also have a child in elementary you may show that pass and pick up the older children as well.
12:10 p.m.* – Those with red passes will be allowed in the Sanctuary to pick up their elementary-aged children.
*Note rising 5th and 6th grade (Whiz Kids) will have extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday, with dismissal at 3 p.m. from the Magnolia building. Dismissal on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be from the Sanctuary balcony at 12:10 p.m.
Traffic flow (diagram below) into the Sanctuary will be:
- In and down the side aisles (divided by odd/even crew number) and child pick-up will be from the center aisle
- Side aisles serve as walkthroughs only
- If possible, please leave strollers outside the Sanctuary
- Please keep moving while in the Sanctuary to keep traffic flowing smoothly and ensure everyone has a smooth pickup process
The Sanctuary is at capacity all week. We invite parents to watch the closing activities on the large screens in the Harnish Activities Center. If you need to get your children before dismissal, please come to campus before 11:40 a.m. and we will locate your child for you.
