What is Podcasting?
Podcasting is a method of publishing audio content to the Web, allowing users to subscribe to a feed that will let them know when new content becomes available. In laymen's terms, it's a radio show you download onto your computer, and by subscribing the newest program automatically downloads for you when it becomes available. To find out more about what a podcast is, go here.
Do I need a portable digital audio (.mp3) player to listen to Podcasts?
No, you can listen to our Podcasts directly on your computer without uploading them to a portable digital audio (.mp3) player.
Do I need software to listen to Podcasts?
In order to receive and listen to the Podcast, you must have appropriate software installed on your computer. There are multiple applications for this. We recommend iTunes (available for both Mac and Windows PC). iTunes will allow you to listen to the podcast on your PC as well as allow you to transfer it to an iPod or other portable .mp3 player, should you wish to do so. You can download iTunes for free here.
How do I find an archive of sermon Podcasts?
To view the 12-week archive of sermons in audio format, visit our podcast blog here. Once on this page, look for the link labeled "Subscribe in a Reader Link" at the bottom right of this page. On the next page, please click the “Subscribe with iTunes” link at the top right of this page. A dialogue box opens asking you to select the application to use.
