Lessons and Carols

Sunday, Dec. 11— 9:30 and 11 Worship Services

Join the Contemporary Band at 9:30 and our vocal and handbell choirs at 11 for Lessons and Carols as we share Songs for the Waiting, Songs of the Season, and read scripture that tells of God’s promise in the coming of the Christ Child.  Music and scripture will provide the message of hope for our world.


Family Christmas Service

Dec. 18 – 5:30 p.m. (Activities start at 5 p.m.)

Experience the Nativity with an immersive, retelling of the Christmas story.

The stage will be set with live animals and carolers, ready for you, the audience, to complete the cast of characters.

After the story has been told, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate as you craft and create through the Nativity Marketplace and visit with the live animals.



Blue Christmas

Dec. 21 – 7 p.m.

This is supposed to be a joyful time of year, but… for some of us, the holidays are hard.

Know that You are not alone.

Come to a different kind of experience, one of comfort and hope. Experience contemplative music, a time for reflection and prayer, spoken words of hope and candles of remembrance lit during the service.

Dec. 23 – 6:30 p.m.

Experience the magic and wonder of Christmas in Water Works Park.  We’ll share the Christmas story and celebrate the season with song.  Enjoy an evening of joy and hope under the night’s sky and against the dazzling Tampa Riverwalk.


Bring your pets, lawn chairs and blankets.

11 p.m. Sanctuary Service with the Chancel Choir and Communion featuring carols and a candle lighting around the fountain, taking the light of Jesus to the world.
