Are you restless for something new?
Our young cat has become aware that there is a big world outside the door. She has not yet been “fixed” and we did not allow her outside. She got somewhat desperate. One sunny day, she wandered out the roof top window, ventured down the steep incline and reached the gutter. She realized the only way down was a big jump. She was staring down a long time. The jump was clearly outside her comfort zone. (I had fun watching her walking back and forth restless, trying to get up courage to jump). But she was not going back. She jumped, and as her reward was spending a nice day outdoors. After that success, it has been hard keeping her inside. She sets up camp by the door and when someone is coming or going she is ready to sprint to freedom.
