Greeters are available in the Wesley Center Lobby every Sunday and Wednesday during programming. They will direct you to computer check-in stations to get a personalized name tag and receipt for pick up.

Vacation Bible School 2023

Launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. It will be light years of faith-building fun.

A place where our littlest disciples will hear the word of God through Bible stories, followed by age-appropriate crafts, coloring and activities. The hour is wrapped up with fellowship around the snack table and joyful fun as friends join together in play.

Classes and Groups for Families

Birth to Preschool Parents:

Teach your child about faith early on

Baptism Classes
Classes for parents interested in baptizing their children and adults or youth interested in being baptized themselves. Parents only have to take the baptism class one time.
Picture Bible Parenting Class
Learn practical steps for sharing your faith with your 2- or 3-year-old child that includes a presentation of a new picture Bible in worship.
Picture Bible Presentation
We present all our littlest disciples with their own picture Bible in worship at Hyde Park, then have a blessing for them as they continue to grow up in the church.
Worship Parenting Class
Learn how to bless your child with the most important gift – a life of worship. This three-week workshop is for parents of 4 and 5-year-old children. Explore what worship is, learn the different ways we worship, gain practical tools, and connect with other parents.

Elementary Students and Parents:

Get help to answer more of their important questions

Silent Prayer and Meditation Experience
Silent prayer and meditation literally changes the structure of our brains, but practicing these disciplines is not easy! Join us as we discover practical ways to integrate silence and stillness into the lives of our families.
Sacraments Experience
For both parents and children, grades 2-5. Explore the meaning of communion and baptism in the United Methodist Church, and gain tools to help you explain things to your child and new insights for yourself.
Third Grade Bible Parenting Class
Help your family grow spiritually with topics including family devotions, how to help your children use the Bible and be blessed with the Bible. The class will meet for three weeks.
Third Grade Bible Boot Camp
In this Bible basic training, third-grade students will learn how to use their Bibles by drilling through the basics of the Old and New Testaments in this fun and engaging group.
Third Grade Bible Presentation
We present all our third graders with their own Bible in worship at Hyde Park, then have a blessing for them as they continue to grow up in the church.

Children’s Music

Children’s Music (Four-Year-Olds – High School)

Our children’s choirs allow students to serve God at an early age. They also teach music, the importance of attendance, positive behaviors and teamwork. Each choir performs in worship and other performances a few times a year.

Celebration Choir (First – Fifth Graders)
