In late August, many people were trying to figure out how to respond to our neighbors in need in Texas and Louisiana following Hurricane Harvey, only to be hit with the news that another hurricane… Irma had formed and was heading towards Florida. We prepared, braced for Irma, spent time without power and cleaning up. Hurricane Maria followed in September, devastating many Caribbean islands, including Puerto Rico. This week brought the tragedy of the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
