Welcome to MomCo

We believe motherhood is a journey best shared. Gain support, laughter, and encouragement.

Navigate the ups and downs of parenting while growing in faith and friendship. All moms (pregnancy-adulthood) are welcome.

At our meetups, we start with fun icebreakers to get to know each other. Then, we dive into topics like parenting tips from the MomCo curriculum, parenting expert guest speakers and crafts.

Childcare:

Drop-off is open 15 minutes prior to meeting start.
Nursery: For babies and crawlers
KidCo: For toddlers and children 2 and over (includes play, crafts, and Bible stories)

MomCo Meetups are awesome, but what about the other Wednesdays each month? We have something new for you this year! All moms, wherever you find yourself in faith, are invited to participate in a Bible study during the normal time for MomCo. Childcare is included at no extra charge. There is no prep needed and nothing to purchase. This fall, our study is “Short Stories by Jesus” by Amy-Jill Levine (Professor, Vanderbilt University). The author interprets these moving stories for the contemporary reader, showing how the parables are not just about Jesus, but are also about us—and when read rightly, still challenge and provoke us two thousand years later. Registration + Fees

MomCo Membership Fee: $37 – to MomCo International; You receive a Welcome Package from MomCo that is packed full of useful tools as well as some fun goodies and a weekly email.

STEP 2: Register and Pay for our local meetup here

Hyde Park UMC Group Fee: $48 – to Hyde Park (covers crafts, speaker gifts, raffle prizes, basic hospitality items, etc.).
Childcare (Optional): $100/year (per family); Payment for childcare (mornings) is in the registration link below.

FAQ

Can I try a meeting first? Definitely! Please come and visit to see what we do and why we leave feeling that we can conquer this thing called motherhood. After one visit, if you choose to come back, we ask that you join our group. Click to RSVP

Can I join any time during year? Yes! You are always welcome.

Am I welcome if I don’t attend church? Yes! Everyone is welcome.

What do I wear to a typical meetup? Wear what you are comfortable in. You will find other moms wear everything from jeans and a t-shirt to athleisure, to sundresses, to work wear and more.

Do I have to put my baby in childcare? No. We do have childcare available. Non-mobile and nursing babies are welcome to join mom in the meetup.

Can I attend the morning and the evening meeting? We ask that you pick one, and we understand there might be a week when you need to change things up because of life.
